A lot of people have been asking me about my new phone, so here’s the skinny on it, and why I chose it (besides it being the right price (less than $200). WMExperts.com reviewed on video my new Omnia SCH-910 (the phone I just purchased and I am very happy with).. This video is of the AT&T version (not 3G), but the Verizon version I have is a FULL 3G networked phone unlike the videos below which walk through the AT&T version’s (not sold in the USA) which are otherwise the same. This is a walk through of the software included. It’s definitely competitive with the Apple iPhone if not exactly as aesthetically pleasing. Features of the phone include… 5 megapixel camera (LED flash, face detection, and panorama mode with GEOTAGGING), WiFi, GPS (VZ Navigator), Bluetooth A2DP, 3G (EVDO Rev. A), optical mouse, accelerometer, and a full-HTML Opera Mobile (non-beta) web browser. the Samsung Omnia is about as close to an Apple iPhone 3G competitor as Samsung has ever released to the market..
I love this phone and there are more and more reasons to love it everyday.. After taking a long absence from the Pocket PC/Windows Mobile world and purchasing an iPod Touch (because I love that platform’s ease of use and cool application), I was afraid that I wouldn’t like Windows Mobile after all the last PDA I owned was a Pocket PC with version 4.. Well I have been pleasantly surprised and honestly this thing seems to do more for me and my advanced uses than an iPhone would and without the huge bill to AT&T. Where I live cell phone service from providers like AT&T has been spotty in the past with many dropped calls. With this phone and Verizon I never get bad service at all..
Here are some video overviews from other sources of the Omnia. These reviews of hardware and software were before Verizon was chosen and the 3G release model was made available. The content otherwise is at parity, so this will give you a look..

Pocket Twit (from Google’s summer of Code)
It’s the best Twitter client out there with possibly the grooviest interface… This will show you why… The up and down and side scrolling really make a difference, plus full URL picture and location support…
It also comes with Office Mobile
And Opera Mobile (as nice as Mobile Safari) With Zoom and Flash Support and tabbed browsing. This is very touch friendly..
