From the Developer Point of View

I highly recommend that if you are comparing tools for development between Google Android and Microsoft Windows Phone 7 that you read through this comparison. I couldn’t have wrote any  better comparison myself.. It’s from Paul Jenkins the author of MahTweets.

Paul basically echoes my sentiment that it’s difficult and time consuming to setup Android development on the basic free tool set and that the UI design tools are very substandard compared to something like Microsoft Expression Blend. Also the speed of deployment to the emulator is faster on Windows Phone 7..

From the Designer stand point of view

This video basically explains my sentiments, in that there is nothing like Expression Blend for Windows Phone 7 (it’s free)..

 

Now let’s compare and contrast this to AppInventor which is a very viable product for Android development and coming along nicely for a 1.0 beta type product..
