Microsoft Windows Phone 7 Applications for Government Contest

Microsoft is looking for 10 applications to be made available to federal government customers on Windows Marketplace with the release of the new Windows Phone 7 in November, 2010.

Beginning October 1, Windows Phone 7 (WP7) partners, developers and developer hobbyists can enter to win an Xbox 360 Console with Kinect if their federal Department of Defense or civilian application is selected as one of ten winning applications selected by our judges! It all kicked off on September 16, 2010, with the release of the Windows Phone Developer Kit, and ends December 15th at 12:00 midnight (PST). Winners will be announced on Friday, December 17th.
