Looking at these two photos, what is new about this ? Between the royal wedding and seeing this, it got me to thinking about the old saying..

“Something old, something new, something borrowed something blue..”

Before METRO

(Origami 2.0 experience, works with IE 9 installed or any IE browser,)

Download Origami Now

(Editor’s Plug: How it’s done: mostly because this is a new interface over the default browser control, if you take my class at Washtenaw Community College we teach how to build UI like this).

Note the METRO influence in the ICONS and experience below though not flat this was there back in 2006-7 when Origami was originally there sprang up from Windows Media Center)

Thanks to Tom Warren and WinRumors for this one..

Did Origami get “METROed”  for Windows 8?? Here is another IE  “METRO” interface on Windows Phone with "the Mango Update” using html 5 and IE version 9).

(Editor’s Opinion: I actually prefer this experience over the regular Internet Explorer web exxperience, because the Window “gets out of the way” and the content isn’t just maximized but it’s scalable. I also prefer the 3D look of origami over Microsoft’s FLAT Metro look and feel. I wish they’d give us all a choice about this.)..

Here below is the current IE  9 Browser Experience...
